Now that's cool! Real ball bearings too. Great find and in good condition also.
davidm, I can't really tell from the pics but is the kick tail warped in or is it a block of wood or fiberglass glued and sanded onto the flat wood?

Yeah Jim, it's got a wedged kicktail sanded and glued on to the board. Now that's cool! Real ball bearings too. Great find and in good condition also. davidm, I can't really tell from the pics but is the kick tail warped in or is it a block of wood or fiberglass glued and sanded onto the flat wood?

Cool set up Tim. Seeing a Bennett up front reminds me of "back in the day". How cool is that - a product designed in the mid 70's is a competetive piece today? I'm up for a cone sesh, let's get one going.

Thanks Jim. What cool trucks the bennetts are. Good looking and man do they turn. Can't wait to get together and do some slalom. P Village has that great church parking lot. When is the bowl bash?

That thing is dialed for slalom. Thanks for letting me ride it. The Carascos did nice mods on those trucks.

OK so I mentioned the boards my father in law has sitting out in the shed, the boards my kids throw around. I thought one was a sims but it is actually a Banzai board like the metal ones posted above but with grip tape on it and the other is a wooden bahne skateboard. That is all

Tim , Take a picture of it and post it. I love those Banzai boards.
Those who were at the LS BowlBash were in for a real treat. Sully brought his "collection". Amazing stuff and I was floored when he told me what some of those boards were actually worth.
Thanks Sully for bringing all those boards. Did anyone take any photos? This would be the thread to put them in.

You know I start to think to myself if they ever reissue these I will be one of the first to get one. Than Buzz Killington shuts me down......

panictim, I'd love to see that old Banzai and Bahne. A couple of great old ones for sure.
AZ, I think a K-Beam reissue would be one of the most popular reissues. It seems everyone of that era had one and liked them. Too bad the modern "Kryptonics" company has nothing in common with the real Kryptonics of the 70's so I doubt we'll ever see one - unless it's made under a different name.

Thats great Dave. Thanks for posting. I was 12 years old and riding a blue freeformer board then. I didn't even know what wide boards were.

HA! HA! Curtis is a Dork! I have to agree with Mike. With that kind of comment you shouldn't be allowed to skate with the Bullets anymore.
