Thanks for posting the RayRod curtis. Cool stuff.
davidm, all kinds of cool stuff. That Lamar with the Tracker Mags and copers is really catching my eye. Are those Krypto CX-66 wheels on it?

Some very cool boards you all have. Heres something a little different. I loved this board. Learned Casper tricks on this.

I probably learned more tricks on this board than any other I've ever skated.

Oops, ok it should work now. The Banzai doesn't have the original trucks and these Bennetts don't have the original base plates since I broke them. I also added the griptape. The Makaha is original except for the wheels and baseplates since I broke those plates also. I love both these skateboards.

I never rode this. Someone gave it to me. I don't know anything about it. I like it cause it has a crappy look to it.

Yea I broke several urls I never skated the Dogtown. I don't know anything about it. It was givin to me as a kid and I tried to glue it back up. There is a lesson here: Don't let kids glue stuff up. And here is my first wide board I used. Learned how to drop in on vert with this one.

Very cool boards Mike! I had a grey coloured Makaha that was very similar to yours, it was the 2nd board I ever had. There is a Dogtown Triplane for sale over on SNB right now for $1500. That Sims Lonnie Toft is a highly sought after board too! This is like my old Makaha:

I'm glad you posted your Makaha. I've never seen those boards with the trucks I've got on mine. I did have the baseplates like yours but not the trucks. I broke the baseplates not to long after I got it. I guessing the person I got it from got the trucks from another board.
This is a great thread. Everyone has some pretty cool stuff.

Wow, more very cool stuff. I remember that Sims Lonnie Toft when it first came out and how strange it seemed because of how the width of the tail was so massive compared to the front of the board. There were many others that followed that trend for awhile.
That Banzai is very similar to my first real board I bought that I saved my paper route money for. It was a Banzai deck just like that only in blue instead of gold. I think I had ACS trucks and Banzai wheels with ball bearings. It was mail order and took 4 - 6 weeks to arrive. Man, that was brutal for a kid to wait that long for something so cool.
|Thanks for posting.

LOL, that Banzai deck sounds a bit like my first one, with ACS trucks and Kryptos. It wasn't that model of Banzai though. I also had the Lonnie Toft 10x30. There is some really cool stuff out there guys, how much of it have you had forever (even if you did not skate it) and how much of it have you acquired over the past 5 years or so?

Good question. Everything I posted I have had for almost 2 decades. Ok that just sounds old.
I can't seem to find my Tony Magnusson hell concave board with the fiberglass core. I think thats the only thing left to post.

As awesome as that fantacy may be, I have a simple answer. Faith! She is TOO radical. Do you think any of the male suitors could cook like her? Or dance? Force the dogs to do kitchen work? No, none of us could fill Faiths shoes. And you better hope she does not catch wind of this, she has some MEAN mortal kombat moves... TRUST ME!
Sincerely, Broken leg in Blue Springs

God point zach, I may be able to cook, but I am not a dancer nor do i wish to have moratl kombat moves thrust upon my head.. so maybe we can keep this on the downlow and we can just fill in while she is out of town?
whats with the broken leg siganture?

I don't have much left from back in the day, but here's one hanging on the wall: It's a G & S Fibreflex Hester signature series slalom deck from 1978. The trucks are ACS 651's and the wheels are 70mm green Kryptos. I used to race this board with 70mm blue Kryptos up front and red Kryptos on the back, the older Kryptos with square edges. The greens ended up on there in the 80's because I'm not sure what happened to the red and blue ones and the greens needed to be mounted on something. I had lots of fun on this board even though I was never very good at slalom. I think most of my paper route income as a kid went into buying skateboards.
