Man when I was a kid our town had nothing. I would have been stoked to have something like that. A real skater would see the potential in that park. It's sad that kids are so picky and ungrateful for what is available to them. Sorry it's how I feel and that park has potential for a creative skater! Rip it up Platte City!!!!

You know Craig, I had to hit this park on a school day morning to get pictures of it without skaters EVERYWHERE. There's not many parks up north so this park is usually packed. The Platte City and surrounding area kids are stoked to have a place to skate. It's located right next to the police station and the cops said they are amazed at how popular the park has been. It's the hottest thing in town right now and so far they haven't had any major issues.
I kind of liked the open area by the bales of hay as a manual pad or freestyle area. A few skaters said that there are plans to put a mini ramp in that back section when more funds become available. I also think that Jersey barrier quarter is pretty cool.

That's good to hear Jimmy. Yeah that Jersey barrier quarter looks really fun to mess around on.
